Site purpose

BaselineLab is a web application for testing modern HTML and CSS features in an interactive, visual, and educational way.

Content usage

The examples, text, and generated code are provided as a starting point for learning, prototyping, and development. Although the information is intended to be accurate and up to date, you should review compatibility and adapt the code before using it in production.

Using the plugin and its examples

These terms of use also apply to the BaselineLab plugin. The plugin is free and intended for learning and prototyping with HTML and CSS. It has no purchases, subscriptions or paid features. Voluntary contributions through Buy Me a Coffee take place on that external platform and do not unlock plugin features.

Example code is generated by BaselineLab’s tools from the selected settings. It may contain errors and is not necessarily the only solution to a problem. Review and adapt it before integrating it into a project. Host-model explanations are separate from BaselineLab-generated code and also need review.

Compatibility depends on the browser and its version, including the browser running the interface inside the host. The Baseline badge and notices help you interpret support; a working preview in one environment does not guarantee support across all browsers or versions. Experimental examples may have limited support.
